CONTINUING EDUCATION - DENTISTS, HYGIENISTS and ASSISTANTS
All Texas licensed dentists and dental hygienists are required to complete 12 hours annually of continuing education in accordance with the Dental Practice Act. Omega Seminars is offering the opportunity to earn a total of 12 hours of accredited continuing education in three, half-day seminars while cruising aboard the CARNINVAL MAGIC NOVEMBER 3-10, 2013. You do not need to take the seminars to cruise with us.

If you have never been on a 7-day cruise before, it is time to stop dreaming and start looking forward to all the delicious dinning, exotic destinations, exciting entertainment, casino action, spa service, adults only sanctuary, children's camp, water park, teen's club, and pampering service you will experience on our MAGIC CONTINUING EDUCATION SEMINAR CRUISE. We have made it easier and more affordable than ever to cruise with our program whereby you can make low monthly payments after your application and deposit are received. We are offering 2 different categories of cabin accommodations. The Inside (no window) and Balcony categories require a $250 per person deposit before May 31, 2013. The Deluxe Ocean View, Cove Balcony, Ocean Suite and Grand Suite category also require a $250 per person deposit and the rates are available upon request as well as third, forth and fifth passenger occupancies. The deposits/payments are refundable up to August 15, 2013 without penalty.

Caution: Only those booked through Paradise Vacation and Travel Co. will be included in all group functions - seminars. The Early Saver Rates (discounts) on web sites are very restrictive, completely non-refundable and no changes, including names, are allowed once booked. We do not recommend these rates for this group and they are not listed. If you want a comparison, please inquire.

EVERYONE MUST HAVE A VALID PASSPORT or ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE & PHOTO ID WITH THEM FOR CHECK-IN, SAILING AND TO RE-ENTER THE UNITED STATES IN GALVESTON. All guests must present the required citizenship documentation at embarkation and failure to have the proper documentation with you will result in denied boarding and no refund. Passengers under 21 years old must sail with their parents or legal guardian. EVERYONE WILL BE REQUIRED TO GO ON-LINE AND PRE-REGISTER YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IN ORDER TO OBTAIN YOUR BOARDING PASS, CRUISE DOCUMENTS AND LUGGAGE TAGS AS IS NOW REQUIRED.

The Magic has FAMILY CABINS that can accommodate up to 5 passengers as well as connecting cabins so book your cabins now before they are no longer available. Rates are based on availability; Single occupancy cabins are price at 200%. OPTIONAL VACATION PROTECTION PLAN (insurance) is highly recommended to protect your vacation and cruise investment. Details and an application form will be provided to you with your confirmation or can be found on our web site home page, www.pvt4u.com. A premium payment with your insurance application is recommended to be sent directly to the insurance company within two weeks of your deposit date.

A COMPLETED CRUISE APPLICATION FORM ALONG WITH YOUR REGISTRATION DEPOSIT OF $250 PER PERSON IS REQUIRED TO CONFIRM YOUR CABIN RESERVATION BEFORE MAY 31, 2013. If you are paying by check, please make your check payable to PARADISE VACATION AND TRAVEL CO., INC. Final payment is due by August 15, 2013. If you are paying by credit card, your deposit, scheduled and final payments will automatically be charged to your credit card when due.

PENALTIES AND CANCELLATIONS:
Before August 15, 2013 no penalty for cancellation, as of August 15, 2013 and before September 10, 2013 a penalty of $250 per person for cancellations, as of September 10, 2013 and before October 5, 2013 a penalty of 50% of your package cost is assessed, as of October 5, 2013 and before October 15, 2013 a penalty of 75% of your package cost is assessed and as of October 15, 2013, no refund for cancellations or missed sailings. Penalties apply to all guests in a cabin and are assessed in the event of either a partial or full cabin cancellation. Substantial penalties for name changes after October 15, 2013. ALL CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED BY PARADISE VACATION AND TRAVEL CO. to be effective. It is the traveler's responsibility to have the proper travel documentation (passport or original birth certificate with photo id.) and to arrive at the respective ports on time for scheduled sailings. If you miss a sailing, it is your responsibility to arrange passage to the next port. Carnival Cruise Lines and Paradise Vacation and Travel Co. reserve the right to refuse passage to anyone deemed a safety risk. Please advise on the application if you are NOT a United States citizen.

DENTAL CONTINUNING EDUCATION PRESENTED BY LISA DOWST-MAYO

Lisa Dowst-Mayo graduated Magda Cum Laude from Caruth School of Dental Hygiene at Baylor College of Dentistry in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. She has held numerous leadership roles in the tripartite of American/Texas/San Antonio and Dallas Dental Hygiene Associations and is currently a board member / chair of student affairs with the San Antonio District Dental Hygiene Society. She is an author, clinician, educator and national speaker. Lisa is a Dental Hygiene Instructor at Concorde Career College in San Antonio, Texas and also works part time as a private practice clinician. She has published numerous articles on a broad range of topics for both RDH and Access Magazine and has written CE courses for Penn Well, Inc. She is an enthusiastic public speaker and educator and has been lecturing to dental audiences on a variety of subjects for the past 7 years. She resides in Boerne, Texas with her loving husband, Eric and two beautiful children.

SEMINAR #1 - "WHY WON'T HE SIT STILL?.....BECAUSE HE CAN'T"

Ever wonder why some of our young patients just can't sit still in the dental chair, or focus on what we are saying, or just brush their teeth daily? Answers to these questions may not be as simple as you think if that child has AD/HD or another co-morbid disorder. This course will explore the world of AD/HD and better equip the dental professional for an appointment with these patients. How much sun is too much and how bad are tanning beds for our skin? How does skin physiology and chemistry really affect our appearance? What causes wrinkles and can "The Hands of Time" really be reversed? If you want to know the answers to these questions, then this course is for you. The course will help you discover just how inter-linked dentistry is with dermatology; and by understanding this link and learning dermatological pathology in greater depth, your quality of oral cancer screening will improve as well as your ability to save lives. 4 C/E Credits

SEMINAR #3 - "TODAY'S SPECIAL: TEETH CLEANING WITH A SIDE OF BOTOX"

The concept of dental spas has been emerging in the field of dentistry since the mid-90's. Believe it or not, you already possess the knowledge and expertise to assist patients in skin care maintenance and preservation while maintaining the health of their oral cavity. This course will tap into that vast existing knowledge base and "extract" the necessary information so you can start applying it clinically. Whether you want to learn to reverse the signs of your own aging, or start advising your patients on skin care options, this course has it all; from cleaning to botox! 4 C/E/ credits
