This will give you time to immerse yourself in the distant cultures of our neighbors in the southern hemisphere. Where else can you enjoy sophisticated city life one day and cruise the next day to magnificent glaciers. Our flights from Austin to Buenos Aires, Argentina arrive on March 2nd where you will spend two pre-cruise nights before our cruise departs on March 4th. After our cruise arrives in Valparaiso (Santiago), Chile on March 17th, we will transfer directly to our hotel for the two night post-cruise stay. Our return flights from Santiago to Austin depart on March 19th. We will visit five ports of call in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile (with a possible visit to the Falklands, weather permitting) as well as cruising the Strait of Magellan, Glacier Alley, around Cape Horn and through Chilean Fjords. During our cruise you have the flexibility of Open Seating Dining between 5:30pm and 9:30pm. Additionally, there are specialty restaurants (cover charge applies) and casual restaurants available to you. A COMPLETED CRUISE APPLICATION FORM ALONG WITH YOUR REGISTRATION DEPOSIT OF $1,500 PER PERSON IS DUE NOW TO CONFIRM YOUR CABIN RESERVATION. If you are using a credit card, you will see the charge on your statement as Paradise Vacation and Travel Co. If you are paying by check, please make your check payable to PARADISE VACATION AND TRAVEL CO. Monthly installments or 4 equal payment plans are available. Full and final payment is due by NOVEMBER 15, 2013. If you are paying by credit card, your payments will automatically be charged to your credit card on file when due. If you make all your payments by check, a 3% discount will be deducted at final payment.

FEES AND CANCELLATIONS PENALTIES:
A $1,000 per person administrative fee is assessed for all cancellations. Between September 15, 2013 and September 30, 2013 a penalty of 25% per person of your vacation package cost is assessed for cancellations, between October 1, 2013 and October 31, 2013 a penalty of 50% per person of your vacation package cost is assessed, between November 1, 2013 and November 14, 2013 a penalty of 75% per person of your vacation package cost is assessed, and as of November 15, 2013, no refund for cancellations or missed sailings. Penalties apply to all guests in a cabin and are assessed in the event of either a partial or full cabin cancellation. Any request for name substitution as of November 15, 2013 (change) represents a cancellation. Itinerary deviations are not allowed. 10 passengers are required to operate this cruise/tour. If canceled by Paradise Vacation and Travel Co. due to a low passenger count, penalties and fees will not apply.

ALL CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED BY PARADISE VACATION AND TRAVEL CO. to be effective. It is the traveler's responsibility to have a current valid PASSPORT and to arrive at the respective airports and cruise ports on time for scheduled flights and sailings. If you miss a departure, it is your responsibility to arrange passage to the next port. The airlines, Holland America Line and others reserve the right to refuse passage to anyone deemed a safety risk.

MARCH 1, 2014:
International economy coach class flights depart Austin for Dallas with a connecting flight to Buenos Aires, Argentina arriving on March 2, 2014 early in the morning.

MARCH 2, 2014:
Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, Argentina you will claim your luggage and proceed to Customs and Immigration. Outside the arrival area, a Holland America Line representative will meet us and will direct you to our private motor coach for direct transfer to our hotel, the Sheraton Libertador where we will spend the next two nights. We have arranged for an early morning check-in after the long flights. Balance of day is on your own. This evening, we have arranged for the group to attend a Tango Dinner Show. Enjoy the best of Argentine and International cuisine with a great variety of delicious options. After dinner, sit back, relax and enjoy a world class Tango Show with Professional Dancers.

Big, brash and beautiful Buenos Aires is one of the world's hottest destinations, in 2012 voted top South America city by Conde Nest Travelers. The city heeding the call of its new popularity, caters to visitors with trendy shopping, restaurants, museums and its famous open air art fair along colorful El Caminito Street in La Boca.

MARCH 3, 2014:
After this morning's breakfast we will depart from the Sheraton by private motor coach on a full day of sightseeing. The morning will include a City Tour exploring the best of Buenos Aires with an English speaking guide who will start our tour with a visit to the famous plaza, Plaza de Mayo. The plaza was the site of the May 1810 revolution that led to Argentina's independence. Here we will visit Casa Rosada which is the seat of government as well as the office of the President. Also we will see the Metropolitan Cathedral, Cabildo (Town Hall) and enjoy a great view of Colon Theater. We continue to the traditional quarter of San Telmo to experience the magical atmosphere there. San Telmo is home to colonial buildings and antique shops lining the original cobblestone streets. We continue to Palemro, a residential quarter with diverse attractions such as the zoo, the Palermo parks and the Planetarium. This half of the day concludes by returning to the Sheraton to freshen up or grab a lunch.

For the second half of the day, we depart the Sheraton for a drive outside Buenous Aires to the Tigre Delta. Our first stop will be the town of Olivis, an exclusive residential area. Next we visit San Isidro, a historical town and icon of Argentina's aristocracy was founded in 1706 and features the famous San Isidro Chapel, built by the famous Spanish explorer Domingo de Acassusso. After our stop at San Isidro, we will drive to Tigre, the main port in the Tigre Delta. The Tigre Delta is an area where thousands of islands and inlets, water channels, rivers and backwaters form a sub-tropical wonderland. The delta is named after the indigenous jaguars that once occupied the area. Cruising the delta you will see how the inhabitants of the area have transformed the marshlands into a developed area now a favorite vacation spot. After our Tigre Delta cruise we will head back to Buenos Aires where you can either go back to the Sheraton Hotel or have free time to stroll along the main pedestrian street, shop or just relax at a local restaurant.

MARCH 4, 2014:
Morning is free time to follow up on any last minute activities you would like to take in before we are transferred by bus to our ship, Holland America's, Zaandam and our cruise.

MARCH 17, 2014:
After debarkation from the Zaandam, you will have to clear Customs and Immigration in Valparaiso where your Chilean Reciprocal Visa Fee will be collected. Once cleared, Holland America will transfer us by bus to Santiago where we will spend the next two nights at the Sheraton Santiago. This afternoon we have a tour of Santiago, Chile's capital, a gorgeous city brimming with history and culture. Founded in 1541, Santiago is considered one of South America's most modern metropolitan areas. We will be taken across the city to visit major government historical and cultural sites.

MARCH 18, 2014:
Wine Country - the conquistadors introduced vineyards to supply wine for Communion, and thanks to its ideal elevation and climate, Chile today is renowned for it's award winning wine. Today's tour to the Vina Concha y Toro includes a visit to the cellars, wine tasting and shopping. Next, it is onto the Maipo Valley, heart of wine country for a lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon, we return to Santiago with additional city highlights and a visit to Moneda Palace the former official residence of the Chilean presidents. Overnight at the Santiago Sheraton.

MARCH 19, 2014:
This day you will have additional free time to explore on your own the sights of Santiago as we have a late afternoon check out from the Santiago Sheraton. After check out we will be transferred to the airport and our evening International economy coach class flights to Dallas arriving on Thursday, March 20, 2014 with a connecting flight to Austin.
